Start Reviewing This Summer! Timed Multiplication Assessments - Within the first couple weeks of school, ALL 7th grade students will have a timed multiplication assessment. Make sure you have your 0's through 12's memorized. The assessment is designed so you have exactly 3 seconds for each problem. The point is to have them memorized in order for you to be able to give an immediate answer. You will not have time to do math computation to figure them out. Go to the "Resources to Help You" tab above for links to websites you might find helpful. There are tons of additional websites and apps available.
Spiral Curriculum Assignments (SCA's)
SCA's are given to students on Wednesdays and collected the following Wednesday. Therefore, each Wednesday (with few exceptions) students can expect to turn in the previous SCA and get another one for the next week. The purpose of these assignments is to assist students in reviewing fundamental skills that are critical in the developmental understanding and application of mathematics. Update: Students have videos available on Ms. Wilson's website under the "SCA Videos" tab to help guide them through the Spiral Curriculum Assignment.
